Claire learned to spin over 50 years ago but started spinning in earnest in 1970.
She joined the NZ Spinning and Woolcraft Society (now known as Creative Fibre) and was the Northland delegate for 4 years.

Claire has had work selected for many exhibitions and lives and works in Whangarei.
