Beverley
was born in NZ but lived abroad for many years, mostly in Holland.
She moved back to NZ with her dutch husband and 3 children.
On her rural property near Kamo, Whangarei Bev keeps a small flock of
sheep whose wool she spins and weaves and hand knits.
Always having had an interest in textiles, she has done extensive spinning and dyeing and has created her own unique colours.
Beverley
started weaving in the mid 90s and loves working with fine yarns in
particular a possum blend which she dyes into a variety of colours.
She works with several looms which are increasingly taking over her
house.
Beverley and her husband Hans also have a huge collection of vintage
cars.
